Privacy Policy

Quiet Room (Migraine Tracker: Quiet Room) for iPhone and iPad · Effective 27 September 2026

The short version

  • Your diary stays on your device. Attacks, pain, medicines, symptoms, triggers, notes, period days and everything else you log are stored on your iPhone or iPad. We have no server that receives them.
  • No account. You never give us a name, an email address or a password.
  • No ads, no tracking, no selling. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers, and the app does not track you across other apps or websites.
  • One exception, and it is anonymous: the app counts how it is used (for example, that the app was opened or a purchase screen was shown) through TelemetryDeck. These counts never contain anything you log about your health.

This policy explains how the Quiet Room app (“Quiet Room”, “the app”, “we”) handles information. If anything is unclear, email .

What stays on your device

Quiet Room stores the following in the app’s private storage on your device, protected by iOS file encryption. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else:

  • Your attacks and their timelines: start and end times, pain levels, where it hurt (the head map), symptoms, possible triggers, what you tried, notes, and how each attack affected your day.
  • Your medicines and doses, and your answers to “did it help?”.
  • Period days, if you choose to track them.
  • The answers you give when you first open the app (for example, how often you get headaches), the name you choose to print on your report, and your appointment date.
  • Your settings.

Deleting the app, or using Settings › Erase everything, deletes all of it. Because none of it is synced to us, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

What the app sends: anonymous usage counts

To learn which parts of the app are used, Quiet Room sends anonymous usage counts to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the European Union: for example, that the app was opened, which screens of setup were seen, or that the subscription screen was shown. Each count includes basic technical details (app version, iOS version, device model, language) and a random identifier that cannot be traced back to you.

These counts never include anything you log about your health. They are not used for advertising and are not linked to your identity. See TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy.

Purchases

Quiet Room Plus (a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase) is sold by Apple through the App Store. Payment details go to Apple and never to us. Whether you have Plus is confirmed on your device by Apple. See Apple’s privacy policy.

Things you choose to share

The app creates files only when you ask: the PDF report, a CSV export and a backup file. You decide where they go (for example Mail, Messages, Files or iCloud Drive). Once you share a file, the service you share it through and the person who receives it handle it under their own terms.

Lock Screen, widgets, Siri and notifications

  • The Lock Screen widget and the Control Center button show no health data.
  • While an attack is running, a Live Activity can show its duration and pain level on your Lock Screen. You can turn Live Activities off for Quiet Room in the iOS Settings app.
  • Siri and Shortcuts actions (“Log a migraine”, “End my migraine”) run on your device.
  • Reminders (“Is it over?”, “Did it help?”) are scheduled on your device. There are no push notifications and no push server.

Device backups

Quiet Room does not sync to iCloud. If iCloud Backup is on, iOS may include the app’s data in your own encrypted device backup, as it does for other apps. That backup belongs to you and is governed by Apple’s terms; we have no access to it.

Health and medical information

Quiet Room records what you enter and does arithmetic on it. It does not diagnose, and it gives no treatment advice. The information you log is health data and is treated accordingly: it stays on your device.

Children

Quiet Room is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR give you rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you: your diary is on your device, and the usage counts are anonymous and cannot be matched to you. You can export your diary at any time (Settings › Your data) and delete it by erasing it in the app or deleting the app. For any question or request, write to ; we answer within 30 days.

This website

amdine.app sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts or fonts and runs no analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests in order to serve the pages, as any web host must.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect, and describe it in the app’s release notes.
